Andrzej P.Bator. Anamnesis – [re]construction of the painting

The series Anamnesis – [re] construction of the painting consists of photomontages, the main motive of which are portraits (faces) of various people known to the author. These portraits merge with the background  which consists of motifs from other scenes. Other elements visible in these compositions are either related to the people’s surroundings or added by the artist because of personal associations. The series has been presented since 2005 at Andrzej Bator’s individual exhibitions in Wrocław, Berlin, Łódź, Bratislava, Jelenia Góra, Katowice, Poznań and Szczecin.
