I am you, but stronger
The publication accompanied “I am you, but stronger”, an exhibition held in 2020 at the SIC! BWA Wrocław gallery. Its authors, Barbara Żłobińska and Mariusz Maślanka, study the concept of capitalism as a way of organizing the broadly understood nature, including human nature. Their concepts combine science, nature and spirituality; state, tribe and individual; economy, ecology and ethics; evolution, adaptation and mutation. They formulate the aesthetic and conceptual definition of the civilizational acceleration of the last decades. In the project presented at SIC!, they referred to the issue of economic and species privileging.
Aside from its rich photographic documentation, the publication contains three texts written by the exhibition’s curator, Hubert Kielan, Dr Kamila Musiał (National Research Institute of Animal Production) and Bartłomiej Zdunek, a philosopher, poet and short-story writer.
