Tomasz Sikorski S.M.R.T. Absurdalna tajemnica ukrytych sił istnienia

The catalogue accompanied the same-titled exhibition at BWA Gallery in Bielsk. In his works, revealing fascination with death and evanescence, Tomasz Sikorski uses the motifs of bones, dance macabre and snake symbolism. The artist persuades the viewer to make the most of every moment of life, he criticizes totalitarianism, human propensity for aggression and violence. The death-themed exhibition is perversely meant to – as the artist himself says – “turn us towards life”.
