The catalogue accompanying the Magda Podsiadły’s exhibition presented at the Awangarda BWA Wrocław gallery. The Way is a mini album of documentary photography by Magda Podsiadły, a journalist, traveler and author of texts about photography. A kind of intimate photographic diary of trips to Africa, which the author has been systematically undertaking since 1996. The exhibition promoting the release of this album consists of over twenty black and white photos made on photographic paper in a subtle, traditional technique. Deriving from the long tradition of reportage photography, the photo report of the African-born (Conacry, Guinea) journalist is at the same time a fascinated look at another space and the world of values taken from a melancholic distance of the camera lens.
