Bastards&Orphans Monika Patuszyńska

The catalogue accompanied the same-titled exhibition at SiC! BWA Gallery in Wrocław. In her works, the artist returns to the age-long duality between culture and nature. Monika Patuszczyńska works in ceramic moulds found among the ruins of the former porcelain factory in Książ. The originally man-made forms were then appropriated by nature, raindrops carved tunnels in some of them, others lost their parts blown out by the wind.
