What Does a Painter Do? 10th Geppert Competition

5,00

The 10th edition of the Geppert Competition was themed “What Does a Painter Do?”. The eponymous question may be understood in a number of ways: what do the painters of the youngest generation do (and is it really painting)? And then: how do they use the painting medium? How do they define painting? Probably everyone – not just the jurors, critics or curators, but also, and perhaps most of all, the audience visiting the exhibition – wants to know what the answers are.
