Nesting Games in Nests

A catalogue accompanying the exhibition at BWA Awangarda Gallery in Wrocław. The notion of migration is a starting point, resulting in nesting. Due to its history, Wrocław is a perfect place to talk about Polish-Czech-German border issues. The city which has welcomed settlers of various nationalities, witnessed social, political and cultural changes, is in this case a place which allows migrating artists to have a say. The title of the exhibition refers to the metaphor of a nest, aptly navigating its way between a home, safe haven and local motherland of choice.
