Out of Control. Antonina Joszczuk

10,00

The publication summarizes the individual exhibition of Antonina Joszczuk. Joszczuk, who graduated from the only one Glass and Ceramics faculty in Poland, was recognized as one of the most interesting artists of the young generation by the prestigious NEW GLASS REVIEW magazine.

Antonina Joszczuk’s Out of Control is an attempt to deal with one’s own dreams. The artist collects them, catalogues and writes them down – by doing it, she tries to find a key enabling her to get to know desires and suppressed fears. The works we saw in the SiC! Gallery symbolize the attempt to convey what lies underneath the eyelids and the ambition to transform it into glossy, flickering and fragile matter. The exhibition resembled the scenery from a dreamlike film.
